Both childbirth and the breastfeeding period are a great physical burden. The woman's body adapts to transfer energy and nutrients to the newborn baby via breast milk. It is important to provide the body with all the necessary nutrients to support breastfeeding, and thus the baby's development, while meeting the mother's needs. When breastfeeding, it is the nutrients for the baby that are prioritized via the mother's milk. The mother's stores are exhausted and it is important to add an increased amount so that both the baby's and the mother's daily needs are met. Lifeline Care AMMENDE therefore has a strong focus on the mother's daily livelihood to contribute to faster recovery and reduce the risk of problems related to deficiencies. The product contains a specially adapted Omega-3 fish oil. The oil is filtered completely free of environmental toxins and heavy metals and is therefore very suitable for breastfeeding. The concentrated fish oil has a high content of DHA and EPA fatty acids, which are the two fatty acids that are particularly important in this phase of life. The mother's intake of DHA contributes to the normal development of the eyes and brain of the fetus and infants who are breastfed, with a daily intake of at least 250 mg of DHA. The recommended daily intake of 250 mg DHA + EPA contributes to the normal functioning of the heart. Vitamins and minerals are included in the amounts specified by the common Nordic nutritional recommendations for a breastfeeding woman. Contains, among other things, calcium and vitamin D, which are necessary for children's bones to grow and develop normally. Vitamins are organic substances that the body does not produce itself and must therefore be supplied daily for the body to function normally. Minerals are elements that are vital in the diet and contribute, among other things, to the body being able to make use of the vitamins. Fatty acids, such as Omega-3 from fish oil, are essential fatty acids. These are not produced by the body itself and must therefore be supplied daily through the diet. The amount of folate of 400 μg per daily dose corresponds to the health authorities' recommendation for women of childbearing age between 18-60 years.

Dosage & use

Daily dosage: A blister pack consisting of two omega-3 capsules, a vitamin and a calcium tablet. The package contains 30 daily doses. The Norwegian Food Safety Authority has given the product a dispensation to contain 400 micrograms of folate.
