Glucosamine Pharma Nord is a registered non-prescription drug in the category of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic agents. The preparation consists of hard, white gelatin capsules with glucosamine sulfate in the form of 400 mg of pure glucosamine. Each capsule also contains 87 mg of potassium. The indication for Glucosamine Pharma Nord is symptom relief for mild to moderate joint wear and tear (arthrosis) in the knee in adults. Read the package insert carefully before use.

Do not take Glucosamine Pharma Nord if you are allergic to shellfish, as the active substance, glucosamine, is extracted from shellfish.

Dosage & use

Dosage: 1 capsule 3 times daily. Alternatively, the entire dose can be taken at one time during the day. Should not be used for longer than 1 month without consulting a doctor. The capsules should be taken with a full glass of water. If necessary, the capsules can be opened and the contents sprinkled over the food or emptied onto a teaspoon.
