Strepsils Apelsin is a throat tablet that is used for mild infections in the oral cavity and throat, for example for sore throats.

Strepsils has an antibacterial and antiviral effect.

Dosage & use

Adults and children from 6 years of age: If necessary, one tablet may be slowly dissolved in the mouth every two to three hours. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Do not use Strepsils if you are hypersensitive to 2.4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol, amyl metacresol or any of the other ingredients in Strepsils. Strepsils contain glucose and sucrose. If you have an intolerance to certain sugars, you should consult your doctor before taking this medicine. The lozenge should not be given to small children as it may pose a risk of suffocation.

Content

Active substances: Dichlorobenzyl alcohol and amyl metacresol. One lozenge contains 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2 mg and amyl metacresol 0.6 mg. Other ingredients: Sucrose, glucose, sodium ascorbate, ascorbic acid, tartaric acid (E334), blood orange flavour, propylene glycol, and levomenthol.
