Iron preparations with enteric-resistant granules

Niferex is a form of iron taken by mouth to treat or prevent iron deficiency. Iron is essential for oxygen transport and for the transfer of energy in the body. The capsules are called enteric capsules because they do not secrete their contents in the stomach. They release the iron into the intestine where it is absorbed.

Niferex is used in the treatment of iron deficiency.
